This website
The website uses no cookies, no analytics, no ad networks and no third-party scripts or fonts. Everything is served from our own server.
If you choose the light or dark theme, your own browser remembers that choice. It stays on your device and we never see it.
Like any website, the server keeps technical logs, such as IP address, time, requested page and browser type. They are needed to keep the site secure and working, are not used to track you, and are deleted automatically after a short time.
The contact form
The form does not send anything itself. It prepares your message in WhatsApp or in your own email app. We only receive it once you press send there.
When you contact us
If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone, we use your name, contact details and message to answer your question.
WhatsApp is a Meta service, so WhatsApp's own privacy rules also apply to messages sent that way. If you prefer not to use it, email or call us instead.
If you are a client
For an assignment we use the data needed to carry out and invoice the work.
We only access your computers, accounts or systems with your permission, and only for the assignment. If we process personal data on behalf of your business, for example when managing your Microsoft 365, we will put that in a data processing agreement on request.
Why we are allowed to do this
- To answer your question or carry out an assignment (performance of a contract, including the steps before it).
- To keep our accounts (legal obligation).
- For server logs and security (legitimate interest: a secure, working website).
How long we keep data
- Messages that do not lead to an assignment: up to two years after the last contact.
- Client data, quotes and invoices: seven years, as required by tax law.
- Server logs: briefly, then deleted automatically.
Who we share data with
We do not sell data or use it for advertising. We only share what is needed with parties that help us do the work, such as our hosting, email and bookkeeping providers, and with a technician who carries out an installation at your request. They may only use the data for that task.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data, such as encrypted connections, secured accounts and keeping access to as few people as possible.
Your rights
You may access, correct or delete your data. You can also object, restrict processing or request a copy to take elsewhere. Email info@ambolo.nl and you will hear from us within a month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos in Spain or the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands.
