What Ambolo IT takes care of
For your business and your home. Hand us everything or just the one thing that's giving you a headache. Each service comes with a plain-English explanation of what it actually is.
Microsoft 365 and workplace
Microsoft 365
The right licences, a clean setup and ongoing management. We set up mailboxes, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint so your team actually uses them, secured with two-step sign-in.
In plain English
Microsoft 365 is your office in the cloud: email in Outlook, files in OneDrive and SharePoint, meetings in Teams, plus Word and Excel. You pay per user per month.
Taking over your Microsoft 365 environment
Has your previous IT partner stopped, gone quiet or become too expensive? We take over management without losing any mail or files.
In plain English
Your Microsoft 365 environment, or 'tenant', is your company's locked office space at Microsoft, with all accounts, mailboxes and files. When we take over, we get the keys and make sure ownership truly sits with your company.
Device management
Laptops and phones set up and maintained centrally: updates, security and the right software.
In plain English
A new employee takes the laptop out of the box, signs in and finds everything ready. If a laptop goes missing, we wipe it remotely.
Service desk
One point of contact for everything, whether it's the printer, a password, a new employee or a suspicious email. You can reach us by WhatsApp, phone or remote session.
Monitoring and security
Monitoring and management with N-able
We keep a constant eye on your computers and servers and fix problems before you notice them.
In plain English
A small program on each device tells us when something goes wrong, such as a full disk, a failed backup or a missing security update. Think of it as a lookout on the tower, only digital.
Backup and NAS
Central storage on your own NAS and automatic backups, including Microsoft 365. A broken or stolen laptop becomes an inconvenience, not a disaster.
In plain English
A NAS is a box with hard drives in your office or home where your team shares files and backups are kept. Microsoft stores your data, but doesn't back it up the way you'd want.
Security awareness: spotting phishing
Almost every break-in starts with an email, a text or a phone call. We teach your team to spot the tricks, with short training sessions and practice emails.
In plain English
Phishing is a fake message that gets you to click, pay or sign in on a false page. A practice email safely shows who falls for it, so you know where to step in.
Provably in order
As a business owner you're responsible, even if your IT is outsourced. We put the measures in place, along with the proof that they're there.
Where it becomes a legal matter, such as privacy, data processing agreements or the AI Act, we have it reviewed by a specialist we work with: a lawyer with a PhD in IT and law.
Cybersecurity law and client questionnaires
Since 15 August 2026 the Netherlands has applied its Cybersecurity Act, the national version of the EU NIS2 directive. Most small businesses aren't directly covered, but their large clients often are, and they set requirements for suppliers. We check what applies to you, fix what's missing and help you answer the questionnaire honestly and with evidence.
In plain English
A client questionnaire asks how you handle their data: who has access, do you make backups, what happens if you're hacked. Without good answers you can lose the contract.
EU AI Act
If your staff use AI, the EU AI Act requires you to take measures that build their AI knowledge. We help with clear rules for AI use and a workshop, so you can keep a record of what you've done.
In plain English
Nobody has to become an expert, but you do need to be able to show that your people know what they're doing and which client data they shouldn't paste into a chatbot.
Spanish rules, sorted on the technical side
New Spanish rules increasingly arrive through your computer. Your gestor tells you what's required; we make it work on the technical side.
Verifactu and electronic invoices
Spain is requiring invoicing software that records every invoice so it can't be altered, followed by electronic invoices between businesses. The start date has already moved a few times. We make sure your invoicing software is ready in time and that your gestor can work with it.
In plain English
Verifactu works like a black box in your invoicing software. Each invoice gets a digital fingerprint linked to the previous one and is normally sent straight to Hacienda, so nobody can change or delete an invoice afterwards.
Government e-notifications and digital certificate
A Spanish company (SL) must receive government post electronically. A notice from Hacienda or the Seguridad Social counts as delivered after ten days, even if nobody opened it. We set up your digital certificate, make sure alerts reach the right person and keep an eye on things.
In plain English
The certificado digital is your digital passport and signature with the Spanish government. Private individuals often need one too, for example for the town hall or the tax office.
Guest registration for rentals (SES.Hospedajes)
Do you let to tourists or manage rentals for others? Then you must report your guests' details to the Spanish Interior Ministry within 24 hours: on booking, on cancellation and on arrival. We automate this with a digital check-in system, so you no longer have to do it by hand.
In plain English
Guests fill in their details on their phone before arrival. The system forwards them automatically and you only get an alert if something is missing.
Staff time records (registro de jornada)
If you employ staff, you must record everyone's start and finish times every day and keep the records for four years. That already applies today. There are plans to make digital records mandatory, and with a digital system you're ready for that already.
In plain English
Staff clock in and out on their phone or on a tablet by the door. If an inspector calls, you have the overview in one click.
AI at work
Workshops: Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Hands-on workshops using your own work, such as quotes, emails, summaries and translations, for beginners and for teams already using AI.
In plain English
Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot are AI assistants that write, summarise and answer questions. Copilot is built into Microsoft 365; the other two run in a website or app. Which suits you depends on your work and your data.
E-invoicing
Peppol and electronic invoicing
We set up e-invoicing in your accounting software. It's already mandatory between businesses in Belgium, Spain is phasing in the factura electrónica, and the Netherlands is heading the same way.
In plain English
An e-invoice isn't a PDF but a data file that lands straight in your client's accounts, with no retyping. Peppol is the secure network those invoices travel on, a kind of registered post for invoices.
Internet, network and phones
Domains, hosting, DNS and business email
Registering and transferring .nl, .es and .com domains, properly configured DNS and email that lands in the inbox instead of spam.
In plain English
Your domain is your address, hosting is the building, email is the letterbox and DNS is the signpost that says where everything is. If one sign is wrong, your website can't be found or your email doesn't arrive.
Wifi (Omada)
A professional TP-Link Omada network covering indoors, the terrace and the pool, centrally managed and with a separate guest network.
Fibre and mobile
Advice and ordering with Spanish and Dutch providers, business mobile plans and a 4G/5G backup connection for when the fibre fails.
Business phones
A fixed business number that rings on your mobile or laptop wherever you are, with a menu and queue if you want one. We work with 3CX.
In plain English
Your phone system runs over the internet instead of in a cupboard. That way a Dutch and a Spanish number can ring on the same phones.
Websites and search
Websites
A fast, clear website on your own domain, including setup, hosting and upkeep, without heavy systems that need monthly updates and built so Google can find you.
Purchasing and advice
Laptops, screens, printers and network equipment. We advise on what suits you, buy it and install it so it's ready to use.
At home and in your second home
Private clients get personal help in their own language too, from the wifi by the pool to the photos of the grandchildren.
Wifi and home network
Coverage throughout the house, on the terrace, by the pool and in the casita, with a separate network for guests or tenants.
Keeping an eye on your house from abroad
An alert on your phone if the power or internet goes down, cameras you can check yourself and air conditioning or heating you can control remotely, so you know all is well while you're away.
In plain English
If the power fails, the system notices the house has gone offline and sends you a message, so you can ask a neighbour or the property manager to check. We set cameras to cover your own property, not the street or the neighbours.
Phone, laptop and TV
Setting up a new phone or laptop and moving everything across, including photos and WhatsApp, as well as getting the printer, smart TV and streaming working.
Photos and documents kept safe
Your photos and important documents are stored automatically in two places, so a broken laptop or a lost phone won't cost you your memories.
Staying safe online
We teach you to spot scams by WhatsApp, text and fake bank messages, and we set up two-step sign-in on your most important accounts plus a password vault, all explained without jargon.
In plain English
A well-known example: a message from your son's or daughter's 'new number', urgently needing money. Always call the old number first.
Remote help
A quick look at your screen wherever you are, for anything that can't wait until the next visit.
Digital estate
After a death
A lot lands on you at once. We bring order to the digital and practical side: email and accounts, cancelling or transferring subscriptions, securing photos and documents, and handling the home's contracts such as internet, phone, energy and alarm. Legal matters stay with the notary or lawyer, but we make sure they have the information they need.
Arranging it in advance
A password vault with emergency access and an overview of accounts and subscriptions, so your loved ones don't get stuck later.
In plain English
Your digital estate is everything of yours online: accounts, subscriptions, photos in the cloud. Without passwords, families are often stuck for months.
Don't see what you need?
Ask anyway. If we don't do it ourselves, we usually know who does.
